We utilise the power of the sharing economy and short term letting services to give you an income from your home. Wander Nagaland takes the hard work out of listing your homes on homestay websites.  Once you are registered on our platform we will organise for your homestay to be listed on popular websites such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and many more to maximise your earning potential.

Anyone who wants to maximise their homestay income or start their own homestay business.

1) Homestay owners looking for alternatives to traditional letting.

2) Homeowners looking to earn extra income through their spare room or property.

How much does it cost?

₹0. Yes! Set up costs are absolutely free. We will only charge a host fee when you have guests so you’ll never be out of pocket. Our host fee is 15% of your nightly rental income and covers all our services.

What if I want to stop using Naga Homestay?

You can cancel our services at any time.

How do I set my homestay price?

The good news is you don’t have to. Before your listing is approved you will get an expert pricing strategy from our market specialists. Just list your homestay and our specialists will find the best the price to maximise occupancy and income. Of course, if you already have set prices for your homestay please email us and we will make sure we never list less than your reserve price.

I don't know how to register, what do I do?

If you are having trouble registering your account or homestay simply call or visit one of our friendly registration partners who will help you with each step of the process. Registration Partner support is a free service for all hosts. A full list of registration partners can be found here.

What is a Registration Manager?

A Registration Manager is a free service that helps you register your account and homestay. Simply give one of our Registration Manager a call or visit their shop and they can help set up your account and teach you how to use our website.

What if I already have an Airbnb account?

If you already have an Airbnb listing we would be happy to sync it to your Naga Homestay account as well as integrate your listing with Booking.com, Vrbo and many more sites. This means you will only need to update your calendar once through your Naga Homestay dashboard. To enable automatic sync your Airbnb listing would need to be transferred our account along with any listings you have on other websites.  However, if you’d prefer not to do this, it’s perfectly ok. You can still list with Naga Homestay and manage your own account on other websites.

I have a host account, why can't I book a homestay?

Unfortunately, hosts cannot book homestays on their host account. If you’d like to book a homestay please register a new account as a guest.

What payout method should I choose?

We have three easy payout options for you to choose from: Paypal, Skrill and Wire Transfer (direct bank transfer). Most of our hosts choose to get paid via Wire Transfer (direct bank transfer).

How long does it take to get setup?

This depends on how ready your house is for guests. If you are already a homestay host you will be ready to go in a few days once all the details, photos have been approved.

If you haven’t been a homestay host before, get in contact with us to discuss the best way to begin your journey as a host.

What areas do you operate in?

We specialise in Kohima, Dimapur, Khonoma, Dzuleke, Kigwema, Mon etc. However, we can also manage your property in any locality or village. Get in contact to find out if your home is eligible.

What happens if my property is damaged?

It’s important to understand that due to rating systems and guest screening it is highly unlikely that your property will sustain any significant damage. However, accidents still can occur. If your booking is serviced through one of the affiliated platforms such as Airbnb or Booking.com you will be covered by full comprehensive insurance in property and personal liability coverage.

What measures are taken to ensure the safety of my property?

The good thing about Naga Homestay is that before accepting a guest we can screen them to know if they are verified, how many positive reviews they have and learn more about their profile. Before setting up your account, we will agree with you the house rules. For example, if you don’t want pets in your house, we will make sure that we don’t accept guests with pets.

On the rare occasion that something is damaged during a guest stay, affiliate platforms offer a full comprehensive Host Guarantee Insurance for no additional cost.

How often do I get paid?

You may request a payout through your user dashboard. The minimum payout amount is ₹5000 and will usually reach your bank account in 5-7 working days.

How do I get my ₹1,000 bonus?

If you are one of the first 20 hosts to register a homestay your ₹1,000 bonus will be paid out with your first invoice payment.

I need help managing my homestay

Need help managing your account? Simply enroll the help of one of our friendly Homestay Account Managers. Account Managers are there to handle all your account needs. For a small 5% of your nightly rental income they can support you with:

  1. Becoming a homestay host
  2. Listing your homestay on our website
  3. Handling all guest inquiries and booking requests, ensuring guests have an awesome stay, start to finish
  4. Invoicing and payments so you don’t have to worry about a thing

You can still list with Naga Homestay and manage your own account on other websites.
